FarmFest | A Celebration of Music & Community

FarmFest 2026 Lineup Announced!

We are super excited to announce the 6th anniversary of FarmFest, our solar-powered celebration of music and community at Urban Futures Farm in Olympia July 31 – August 3, 2026.

Once again, we will be partnering with the Community Farm Land Trust, and this year it’s extra special.  A portion of the money raised through ticket sales will go directly to our collective effort to preserve Urban Futures Farm for future generations!

Of course you can still expect everything you know and love about FarmFest – an intimate experience, amazing musicians, camping, late night jams, workshops, tours and the nicest folks you could ever meet.

Read on for details about our amazing musical lineup, and how to get your tickets.

Who’s Performing?

After several years of trying to lure them, we are so happy that Never Come Down will be making their first appearance at the farm. There is a reason they have won multiple awards, including 1st place at the Rockygrass band competition, Wintergrass Spark Band of the Year, and IBMA Momentum Band of the Year. Thoughtful songwriting, dynamic arrangements and polished technical skill will make their set a highlight of your weekend.

If you were at FarmFest in 2022, you certainly remember Skillethead. Hailing from Central Oregon, they bring forth the best of Bluegrass, old and new. From classic Stanley Brothers tunes to topical originals and rollicking covers, this five piece band weaves layered harmonies, instrumental prowess and positive vibes into a tapestry that is uniquely their own. Expect to become a Skillethead Head.

Back for a third year, Portland-based Band of Comerados always gets everyone up and boogieing with their improvisational jams and intricate harmonies.  With the recent addition of our buddy Alex Carlson on viola, the newly minted five-piece band has even more opportunities to explore sonic boundaries with their well-crafted originals and creative covers.

Seattle-based Great American Trainwreck brings their unique blend of bluegrassy twang, Americana rock and country soul to our stage for the first time. One critic wrote that “if you are a fan of roots based music you are going to find a lot to like about this band.” They were recently selected to compete in the 2026 band competition at the world-famous Telluride Bluegrass Festival.

Another band making their first appearance at FarmFest is the True North Duo featuring singer-songwriter Kristin Grainger and multi instrumentalist Dan Wetzel. Kristin has won numerous songwriting awards, including first place in the 2020 USA Songwriting Competition (folk). They have shared the stage with some of the best artists of our era, including Sarah Jarosz, Chris Thile and Trampled By Turtles.

It wouldn’t be FarmFest without our Bend-based buddy Pete Kartsounes. Pete is an award-winning singer-songwriter and guitar virtuoso, and his honest, powerful lyrics cut straight to the heart. He’ll make you smile, cry, and think deeply – often in the same song. Always a crowd favorite, and one of the sweetest people you will ever meet.

Mars Garden is back for a repeat performance – last year they rocked the house and filled the dance grass. Their groovy blend of soul, funk and progressive country twang is the foundation for tight harmonies, innovative arrangements, breakdowns, and soulful jams. Creative originals and unexpected covers promise to take you on a dynamic sonic journey worth taking.

The Silvertone Devils are the brainchild of Bill Powers, no stranger to FarmFest, having played here multiple times with the much-loved Honey Don’t. The Devils are a dynamic, eclectic band from Bend, known for creative original tunes and familiar covers. Call it roots rock, country rock or whatever you want, they will move you outta your seat and onto your feet.

Rooted in the Oregon Coast and rich in harmony, The Hackles bring an intricate, emotionally honest blend of folk and Americana. Their radiant, resonant music provides a captivating backdrop for life’s deeper questions and considerations.  Highly refined songwriting and awe-inspiring harmonization combine to take listeners on a lush, melodious journey. Another highly anticipated FarmFest debut.

Olympia’s very own The Kitchen Sink Experience is back for another year to celebrate the diversity of Americana music with their toe-tapping mix of originals and genre-bending covers of traditional and contemporary songs. Always a good time on stage, they also help anchor some memorable fireside jams when the sun goes down and the stars come out.

FarmFest coincides with what would have been Jerry Garcia’s 84th birthday, so we’ve invited Olympia’s very own Stone Jack Ballers to celebrate with a set of classic Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band classics.  Break out the tie dye, stay hydrated while you’re spinning, and smile, smile, smile.
